India's Thrilling Victory Over Australia.

India kick-started their World Cup campaign with a six-wicket victory over Australia, anchored by half-centuries from Virat Kohli and KL Rahul.

Virat Kohli's 165-run partnership with KL Rahul for the fourth wicket was instrumental in India's successful chase of 200.

Ravindra Jadeja's excellent performance with the ball, claiming 3/38, played a key role in India bowling out Australia for 199.

KL Rahul's brilliant 97 not out helped India overcome their middle-order batting concerns in ICC tournaments.

Runs from Virat Kohli boost India's confidence in the World Cup chase.

Australia faced familiar issues against spin in the subcontinent as their batters struggled, while Adam Zampa had an off day.

India's spinners dominated the game, and Australia's decision to bat first in dewy conditions raised questions.
