HBO Max and Discovery Plus will merge for US subscribers in the summer of 2023.

The mash-up version of the services will be available in Latin America later in 2023.

Some European markets where HBO Max is already available will be followed by others in early 2024.

Later in 2024, the company plans to launch the combined offering in new Asia Pacific and European markets.

The company made no mention of pricing changes as the two services merge.

Warner Bros. Discovery also stated that it is looking into the possibility of launching some sort of free, ad-supported streaming service.

The two services have 92 million subscribers combined.

Warner Bros. Discovery anticipates adding more than 40 million new members by 2025.

Netflix, the world's largest subscription streaming service, has nearly 221 million subscribers.
