FIFA World Cup 2022:Morocco faces defending champions France in the FIFA World Cup's Second Semi-final

Wednesday's semifinal match of the FIFA World Cup will feature France versus World Cup pioneers Morocco.

Argentina is already in final after beating Croatia. 

current champions France is aware that a victory over unheralded Morocco would put them just one win away from being the first side to successfully defend the championship in 60 years.

France is favourite to win against Morocco in the Semi-final at the Al Bayt Stadium. 

In the history of the World Cup, Morocco is the first African team and the first Arab country to get to the semifinals.

France has won the World Cup twice and is now the defending champion after defeating Croatia 4-2 in the 2018 tournament in Russia.

France won their first World Cup in 1998, when they defeated Brazil 3-0 in the final at the Stade de France, just north of Paris.

Argentina have won the FIFA World Cup twice i.e. in 1978 and 1986.

The FIFA World Cup 2022   Final is scheduled on 18th December.
