Just a few months after announcing his retirement from the NFL in 2021, Drew Brees transitioned to broadcasting.

He remained in that job for only one year

Brees has since decided to step down from football in order to spend more time with his family, particularly on weekends.

On The Dan Patrick Show this Thursday morning, Brees remarked of his post-retirement job, "Last year, I went the media way," according to Awful Announcing. "I truly enjoyed that.

I thought I had learned a lot. I refrained from doing it this year for the simple reason that it consumed all of my weekends.

According to reports, if Tom Brady stops playing football, he might follow a similar path.  As per Report Tom brady has a $ 375 million deal to work as lead analyst with Fox.

Brees wants Brady to understand the level of dedication required in the broadcasting industry.

Although I am aware of what has been announced, I am unsure of the particular tasks Tom has agreed to. But it requires more time than you might imagine, and it is undoubtedly a commitment.

I really admire the men that hold those roles and the men who truly go above and beyond, you know, the work that goes into that.
