Travis Hunter, a star player for Colorado, suffered a serious injury during Saturday's game.

He will be out of action for a few weeks, as confirmed by head coach Deion Sanders.

Hunter was hurt during the team's double-overtime victory against Colorado State.

The injury occurred when he took a hard hit from CSU safety Henry Blackburn in the first quarter.

After the hit, Hunter received medical attention on the field and was briefly able to return to the game.

However, he was later removed from the field and taken to the hospital.

It's uncertain if the hit by Blackburn was the direct cause of Hunter's injury.

The game was intense, with Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders defending his teammate after the hit.

Hunter transferred to Colorado when Deion Sanders became the head coach.

Despite the injury, Colorado managed to secure a double-overtime victory over Colorado State, maintaining their undefeated record.
