Chick-fil-A is one of the largest American fast food restaurant chains having specialization in chicken sandwiches.
If you have been on Facebook recently, you must have come across a post that has touched the hearts of many.
Beth Ann Smith wrote about her grandmother, who passed away recently.
She wrote about her grandmother's favorite part of summer when she could get a peach milkshake from Chick-fil-A.
Smith says she has a lot of memories with her grandmother, Faye Rogers.
Smith says her Grand father died when she was just of 6 years old.
Whenever I feel depressed then my Grand mother used to give me bag full of flour to play in the kitchen. This was her way to keep me out of depression.
Smith said her grandmother Faye was one of four children. Her eldest sister Merle made delicious homemade peach ice cream.
It was the golden standard for her family, and nothing compared to it. At least until the summer treat came to Chick-fil-A.
Smith said my grandmother would take a huge taste every time she drank the peach milkshake we had discovered at Chick-fil-A and would always comment, "It's like drinking fair's ice cream through a straw.
Last year, she simply wanted peach milk shake for her birthday.
Smith said We sent her a cake and flowers last year for her 97th birthday on July 28th, but she couldn't have given a damn about the cake or the flowers. She sipped the milkshake we put in front of her and was ecstatic.
Unaware that it was one of the final times her grandma would get to drink a milkshake, Beth Ann took a picture of her enjoying it
When chick- fil-A announced that milkshakes will be returning this summer, she shared the identical image on their Facebook page.
In return, Chick-fil-A sent Smith a box of gift cards so she could get as many milkshakes as her heart desires.
At the bottom of box, a snap of her drinking milk shake was printed.
