The Oklahoma Sooners' demoralising loss to the TCU Horned Frogs left few positives in their wake.

In addition to the loss, Oklahoma had a couple of scary moments during the game that made people worried about quarterback Dillon Gabriel and Damond Harmon's health.

Dillon Gabriel took a hit in the first half that rendered him motionless on the field, but he was able to walk off after being examined by Oklahoma's medical staff.

Dillon did not return to the game, and Venables told the media that he is in the concussion protocol following the team's loss to TCU.

Dillon's status will be up in the air as the Sooners prepare to travel to Dallas for the Red River Showdown.

If Gabriel's performance wasn't enough, late in the game, as ABC switched the broadcast to one of the ESPN affiliates.

Oklahoma safety Damond Harmon sustained an injury that rendered him immobile.

Damond had to be immobilised before being carted off the field in the fourth quarter.

Depending on how Gabriel and Harmon perform this week, the Sooners could be without two starters for the Red River Showdown.
