Mac Jones, the quarterback for the New England Patriots, will be ready to go for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers despite struggling with a sickness earlier this week.

Jones was taken off the Patriots' injury list on Friday. He will therefore be available for Week 2.

Of course, the Patriots will be delighted by this. They didn't want Brian Hoyer to be their starting quarterback when they played in Pittsburgh.

Even though Jones is 100% healthy going into Sunday, New England must safeguard him. Against the Miami Dolphins, the offensive line had a terrible day.

Jones is aware that facing Mike Tomlin's defense won't be simple.

"The Steelers have always been a tough, turnover-prone football team. They continue to operate in that manner."

On Sunday, the Patriots will try to get their first victory of the year. The game will begin at 1 p.m. ET.
