India's depressing elimination from the 2022 T20 World Cup has generated a significant amount of discussion in the Indian cricket community.

Rohit Sharma's captaincy is under scrutiny after Team India's dismal performance against England in the semifinals.

People started to dislike Rohit because of his subpar batting performance.

Rohit promised fans a different strategy when he took over for Virat Kohli as the T20I skipper.

Worst of all, Rohit did nothing to alter that strategy and keep his pledge. In actuality, he paired up with his opening partner KL Rahul and batted slowly.

Fans and experts have been pleading with the Indian cricket board to make significant squad changes after being dissatisfied with India's overall performance at the 2022 T20 World Cup.

According to reports, the BCCI is preparing for Rohit's promotion in the face of this rising pressure.

There are increasing rumours that the 35-year-old would lose his T20I captaincy position and that the baton will be handed to a young person who is more concerned with the future.

The BCCI is considering replacing the skipper of India's T20I team and installing two separate skippers for the two white-ball competitions.
