The Voice Season 22's final episode eventually aired on Tuesday, December 13, following several weeks of heated battle.
A heart-pounding statement concluded the two-hour-long season finale of the NBC singing competition.
The popular country musician Bryce Leatherwood from Team Blake was declared the 22nd season of The Voice champion.
The aspiring singer triumphed over the other Top 5 contestants, bodie (Team Blake), Morgan Myles (Team Camila), Omar Jose Cardona (Team Legend), and Brayden Lape (Team Blake).
Bryce Leatherwood and his mentor Blake Shelton performed Hillbilly Bone for the grand finale.
Both the audience and The Voice coaches Camila Cabello, Gwen Stefani, and John Legend were impressed by the performance.
With Bryce Leatherwood's victory, Team Blake has produced The Voice winners THREE times.
Blake, who has been a member of The Voice since the beginning, must see this victory as one of the most bittersweet moments of his life.
Blake will, however, no longer be a part of the NBC programme after the next Season 23, which will be his final.
The Voice Season 23 is scheduled to debut on NBC on March 26, 2023.
