On the seventh day of the World Championships, North American sprinter Noah Lyles created history by winning gold .
On Friday, he won the 200m world title with a timing of 19.31s.
Kenny Bednarek and Ariane Knighton with Noah Lyles complete the US clean sweep in the finals.
Noah Lyles, 25, crossed the line in 19.31 and broke his previous personal best record of 19.50.
After winning the gold Noah said, "Today is my day and I finally got to do what I've dreamed of for years. I've got my whole family here."
In this race, Olympic silver medalist Kenny Bednarek finished second with a time of 19.77, while 18-year-old Arianne Knighton finished third, so was awarded the bronze medal.
Noah Lyles broke Michael Johnson's long time record of 19.32 seconds.
This record was set by Michael at the 1996 Olympics, when he became the fastest American 200m sprinter in history.
World Athletics Championships 2022 has started from 15th July. This event, released in Oregon, USA, will run till July 24.
This is the 18th edition of this event.
About 2000 athletes from 200 countries have participated in this special event lasting 10 days.
