Indicted Mark Ponder informed the FBI on January 6 that he believed the 2020 election was rigged.

In the cases from January 6, his punishment is tied for the longest.

Ponder used a fire extinguisher to assault police officers.

U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan sentenced Mark Ponder, one of only four Washington residents detained for his crimes on January 6, to 63 months in federal prison.

The 56-year-old Mark Ponder was also ordered to make $2,000 in reparation.

Mark Ponder is a resident of Washington DC.

Over 200 other Capitol riot suspects have already received sentences.

Ponder and Palmer earned the longest prison terms out of all.
