The Oklahoma Sooners were looking for a bounce-back performance against the TCU Horned Frogs on the road.

The Oklahoma Sooners were dominated by a Big 12 opponent for the second week in a row.

Though the offence had some success against Kansas State last week, that was not the case this week against TCU.

TCU dominated the Sooners from the start, winning 55-24 for their first victory over Oklahoma since 2014.

Oklahoma never came close in this game. TCU took a 20-3 lead in the first quarter and led 34-17 at the half.

Unlike last season against Texas, the Sooners were unable to overcome a significant halftime deficit with their backup quarterback on the field.

TCU totaled 668 yards of offence and 29 first downs.

The Oklahoma Sooners, who were once ranked as high as No. 6 in the USA TODAY Sports coaches poll, were completely dominated.

TCU scored 41 points in the first half and totaled 563 yards. They averaged 10.1 yards per play and converted only 5 of 10 third-down opportunities.
