Former Super Bowl Champion Joe Campbell Found Dead in Florida

Former Super Bowl champion Joe Campbell, who played for the Oakland Raiders in the late 80s, has been found dead in Florida.

Campbell had been reported missing earlier this month and was discovered not alive, with cardiac arrest believed to be the cause of death.

It is suspected that Campbell was hiking before the unfortunate incident occurred.

The Raiders have confirmed Joe Campbell's passing and expressed their condolences to his family.

Campbell was acquired by the Raiders in 1980 and was part of their Super Bowl XV championship team.

He played a total of 65 regular season games over five seasons with the NFL, having been selected by the New Orleans Saints in the first round of the 1977 NFL Draft and later joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1981.

Campbell transitioned to a career as a physical education teacher in the 90s after leaving the NFL following the 1981 season.

The thoughts and prayers of the entire Raiders Nation are with the Campbell family during this difficult time.
