The Chicago Bears, once a winless team, stunned the Washington Commanders with a 40-20 victory, defying expectations.

D.J. Moore's explosive performance included 230 receiving yards and three touchdowns, with 141 yards after the catch.

Quarterback Justin Fields silenced critics with 282 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions, earning a 69.8 passing grade.

Terell Smith, a fifth-round cornerback, played a crucial defensive role, allowing just 28 yards and producing two key stops, including a forced fumble.

Commanders' first-round pick Emmanuel Forbes struggled, allowing three catches for 76 yards and getting benched in the second quarter.

The Commanders' defense faced breakdowns in coverage, resulting in big plays, and averaged only 4.0 yards per play in the first half.
