Jerry Jones emphasizes the importance of continuous improvement, even after the Cowboys' victory on Monday night. 

The Dallas Cowboys secured a much-needed 20-17 win against the Los Angeles Chargers, despite a less-than-ideal performance. 

In a radio interview, Jones described the Cowboys' play as "disjointed" and "sloppy," highlighting room for improvement. 

The Monday night game was marred by 20 total penalties, six sacks, and two turnovers between both teams. 

Dak Prescott's standout performance, with 272 passing yards, one touchdown, and 40 rushing yards with a score, was a bright spot. 

Winning ugly games like Monday night's can be valuable lessons for the Cowboys in preparation for bigger challenges.
