Rams' Derion Kendrick arrested on a felony gun charge shortly after their win against the Arizona Cardinals.
Kendrick's arrest was related to gun possession and occurred early on a Monday morning, as per Los Angeles County jail records.
TMZ reported that Kendrick was pulled over for a traffic violation, leading to the discovery of a gun and marijuana in his vehicle.
Derion Kendrick, a former sixth-round pick out of Georgia, has participated in 21 NFL games, amassing 68 tackles, two tackles for loss, and seven pass deflections in his career.
Despite his arrest, Kendrick had been a consistent starter for the Rams this season, contributing to their 3-3 record with a win against the Cardinals.
The Rams are reportedly in communication with the NFL regarding Kendrick's arrest, as confirmed by Coach McVay after their victory over the Cardinals.
