Former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski suggests the team should trade for Malik Willis from the Titans to bring fresh competition for Mac Jones. 

Bill Belichick, the Patriots' head coach, values quarterbacks with dual-threat capabilities that enhance the run game. 

In contrast, the Titans' coach, Mike Vrabel, observed mixed performance from Malik Willis in the past year. 

The struggles of starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill in the Titans might make Willis less available for trade. 

Willis was drafted by the Titans in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, starting three games as a rookie with a modest performance. 

Currently, the Patriots are dealing with a quarterback slump, with no immediate solution on the roster. 

New England's recent dismal performances, including losses to the Cowboys and Saints, underscore the pressing need for change in the quarterback position.
