Keyshawn Johnson Questions Giants' Future with Daniel Jones

Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is facing criticism following a disappointing performance on Monday Night Football.

The decision to sign Jones to a substantial four-year, $160 million contract extension in the offseason has come under scrutiny, given his 2-to-6 touchdown-to-interception ratio this season.

Keyshawn Johnson, a Super Bowl champion wide receiver, believes that choosing to secure Jones' long-term deal over running back Saquon Barkley has put the Giants' future in jeopardy.

Johnson noted that Daniel Jones appears to perform differently when Saquon Barkley is in the backfield, suggesting that Barkley's absence affects Jones' performance.

Despite facing a challenging situation with a porous offensive line that allowed 10 sacks in a recent game, Johnson expressed his view that Jones has regressed from his promising 2022 campaign.

Daniel Jones will have the opportunity to bounce back as the Giants face the Miami Dolphins on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET, aiming to improve their season's outlook.
