The Patriots have a strong defense, and the Raiders are not doing well. Trading for Davante Adams is a good idea.

Jordy McElroy of "Patriots Wire" suggests three trade scenarios for the Patriots to acquire Davante Adams, emphasizing their "win-now" mentality.

The first proposal involves trading the Patriots' 2024 first-round pick, while the second option includes sending Josh Uche and a 2024 third-round pick to the Raiders.

In the third proposal, the Patriots could trade DeVante Parker along with three mid-round draft picks to secure Adams.

Trading Parker and draft picks seems to be the most enticing option, providing the Raiders with a replacement and draft assets.

The Patriots can afford a trade for Adams in terms of salary cap, with Adams' cap hit being $6.79 million and Parker's manageable dead cap money at $1.56 million if traded.
