Former NFL WR Mike Williams Dies at 36

Former NFL wide receiver Mike Williams tragically passed away at 36. 

The reported cause of death was injuries sustained in a construction site accident. 

Williams, a Buffalo native, attended Syracuse University and had a promising college career. 

He was an all-Big East selection but faced a suspension for academic reasons. 

Despite challenges, he was a fourth-round pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2010. 

In his rookie season, Williams excelled, leading the team in receiving yards and touchdowns. 

His performance earned him second place in the Offensive Rookie of the Year race.
