Dallas Cowboys continue to experience injury problems.
After rookie receiver Jalen Tolbert was ruled out of the Cowboys’ season-opening game last week, two more Dallas players that he was working out with joined him this Sunday, according to The Athletic’s Jon Machota.
Social media users around the NFL world responded to the news.
Tim Roberts tweeted, “Tolbert must have Rico Gathers route running talents if he can’t be activated with this corps.
Fortunately, the Dallas Cowboys have so much depth at the position that Noah Brown, who has 44 catches in 5 NFL seasons, is the team’s #2 wide receiver (checks notes).
“So then, why draft him? When you could’ve had Skyy or Pickens, the supporter questioned.
“SMH.”
David Helman of FOX tweeted, “I’m simply going to keep reiterating that the Cowboys’ lack of worry regarding WR was always so strange. “Returning Gallup will be beneficial. It might not be enough even now.”
Marcus Mosher said, “Pretty devastating for a WR-needy team.”
The Cowboys took Tolbert in the third round, but he hasn’t yet played in an NFL game.
