Mahindra SUV Scorpio-N

Mahindra has officially unveiled its much-awaited Mahindra SUV Scorpio-N in India on 27 June 2022. The company has fixed the starting price of the new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV at ₹ 11.99 Lakh which goes up to ₹ 19.49 Lakh for the top diesel model. The new Scorpio is available in five trims – Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8, and Z8Luxury. All the variants are available both in diesel and petrol.

The new Mahindra Scorpio-N midsize SUV will be 4,622mm long; 1,917mm wide and 2,780mm high. The SUV will be offered with wheel sizes of 17 and 18 inches. This SUV is coming in rear-wheel drive as well as an all-wheel-drive option.

Total Variants of Mahindra SUV Scorpio-N

The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N is likely to be offered in a total of 36 variants across 5 trims levels namely Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8, and Z8L. Among these, 23 variants will be of the diesel model and 13 variants of the petrol model.

The Petrol variant of Scorpio-N will have 7 manual and 6 automatic transmission options, while the Scorpio-N diesel will have a total of 13 manual and 10 automatic transmission options.

Engine & Power of Mahindra SUV Scorpio-N

Mahindra Scorpio-N’s lower variant 2.2 litre diesel engine will generate 132 hp power and 300 Nm torque. At the same time, in the higher variant the 2.2 litre diesel engine will generate 175 hp power and 370 Nm torque. It’s 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine will generate power of 200 hp and torque of up to 380 nm. This SUV is available in 6MT and 6AT transmission options.

Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV gets premium interiors, adjustable seats, an 8-inch touch screen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, connected car technology electric sunroof, wireless charger, cruise control, sony’s premium sound system, and multiple airbags including many more standard and safety features will be seen.

Scorpio Classic

The new Mahindra Scorpio will be available in 6 and 7 Seater Options. at the same time, the old Scorpio will be kept as Mahindra Scorpio classic which will have 7 and 9 Seater options in 2 variants like S3+ and S11.

Booking Details

Booking for the Mahindra Scorpio-N will start online and at Mahindra dealerships from July 30, 11 am. the company has said that its delivery will start from the festive season. The SUV will be available for test drives from July 5 in 30 cities and till July 15 in the rest of the country.

Test drive of the new SUV will be in Delhi & NCR, Banglore, Hyderabad, Ahmadabad, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Lucknow, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Ludhiyana, Kolkata, Indore, Jalandhar, Guwahati, Bhubaneswar, Surat, Ranchi, Patna, Coimbatore, Vadodra, will start from the same day in selected 30 cities including Raipur, Cochin, Visakhapatnam, Nagpur, Bhopal, Dehradun, Amritsar, Jammu & Kanpur.

Technology Used in Scorpio-N

It is the first SUV in its segment to feature shift-by-cable technology. Along with this, this SUV is also the lowest CO₂ emission vehicle in its segment.
