In the UK, McDonald’s Chicken Big Mac was a tremendous success. It’s currently across the pond.
The burger chain is testing the customer favourite at a few outlets in Miami for a short period of time starting later this month. Similar to its meatier sibling, the Chicken Big Mac substitutes two tempura chicken patties for the two burgers. Of course, it also comes with a piece of American cheese, pickles, and the famous Big Mac sauce.
In Miami, McDonald’s is testing the Chicken Big Mac. In the UK, McDonald’s marketed the limited-time item for a brief period of time earlier this year. About 10 days after it was introduced, the Chicken Big Mac sold out due to its extreme popularity. In the UK and Ireland, the chain said that it was its “most well-liked launch ever.”
McDonald’s said in a statement that it is constantly exploring for new methods to give its customers access to the tried-and-true menu items they adore. However, it issued a warning that the Chicken Big Mac is still in the testing phase and that it will utilise this period to collect input from both patrons and the restaurant staff as it looks for chances to provide more delectable options in the future.
Fast food consumers prefer chicken since it is less expensive than beef (see- the ongoing chicken sandwich war). According to Chris Kempczinski, CEO of McDonald’s, poultry is another “focus area” for the business.
